Dee's house, Georgia

The girls went to Dee's house Sunday and won't be back till THURSDAY- YA-HOOOOOOOOOOO. Uh...I am missing them terribly.
Dee has a couple of ponds on his property there and the girls, I can't beLIEVE they got in the water...notice Brittany didn't! She's so brave!

Isn't this typical of them...NO ROWING going on there! HA!

He has a couple of ponds there and they have been fishing ever afternoon. After this picture was taken, Britt caught an even bigger one!

Britt isn't the bravest person I've ever know, so to see her getting in a boat, is amazing to me!

They are supposed to email me more pics soon, and I will post them on here.....

Aunt Rheba's 50th Wedding Anniversary

Aunt Rheba has acheived what few women have and will achieve...putting up with the same man for 50 years! HA

It was a wonderful drop-in, Lisa did a great job!

I thought this is a neat picture, OF which I could have taken, but Dad beat me to it!

The cake was gold and cream colored!

Dad took our picture...I wish Britt had been there, but she was at work. That's Michael beside Ashley.

Courtney waiting on her hug...

Awwww, both clean, hair done and smiling at the same time!

Tuesday

Well, I took the pictures I posted yesterday and today at various cookouts, bar-b-ques etc. that was spread out over a period of 2 weeks.

Here are some pictures I took that I like!

This is Lauren!

I love this picture of Danny and RJ. I don't think I've ever seen a Dad so close to his son before...great family!

This picture I took when Sonny was home. We all miss him and his wonderful sense of humor!

This is another picture I took when Darrell was home...Actually, Mike took it, but who's counting...

This picture Ashley liked...Michael and Grandma Terry.

Enjoy all the pictures below...I didn't put them in order, as the pool party was the last event we went to.

Cook-out at Mike and Tanya's

Mike and Tanya (Sonny's son and wife and two girls moved here from Ca.) had a cookout and it was WONderful. They live in Elberton, Ga., which we learned is the granite capitol of the world!
That's Court and Ash waiting to eat.

This is Mike's daughter, Paige, Britt, Court, Ash and Mike's youngest daughter, Devon. My girls LOVE having new cousins to be with.

Art and Court sang, "Don't Cry Daddy", along with a lot of other songs. Mike had a Karoke set up there.

I took this one of Deanna and I love it!

And this is Mike's sister Donna and her husband Jimmy (Deanna's parents).

Trip to Charleston

We went to Charleston for a few days last month or so...it was still too cold to get in the water....

I'm sure these two were steady discussing boys or the lack there of at the beach...or they could have been discussing how their hair spray just doesn't hold up in all that wind!

It really was beautiful there...the water almost looked clean!

Mike and Courtney look alike...VERY scary! hee

We went on a harbor cruise while there and departed not far from the Yorktown.

Spring is Springing...

FINALLY I am updating this blog. It's not that I didn't want to, but I needed something to put on here besides..."went to work"..."hauled kids everywhere"..."went back to work"...you get it.

I actually have alot of new news for ya! First, we have another addition to our family and a loss. Michael bought Ashley a puppy! His name is Boomer because Michael makes things go "BOOM" on his job.

He's a beagle and WIDE OPEN all the time. Buddy and Cujo can't stand him!

As for our loss, I found a new home for the bird. Yes, Cosmo has left the coup. He was Courtney's bird, but she agreed that he would be happier at another home. He was the perfect bird, but we seldom had the time for him that he deserved and his new home is perfect for him.
More news...Brittany has bought a truck! It's SOOOO cute and she loves it!

She had "G.R.I.T.S." added after she bought it. Kenny...I KNOW you don't know what that stands for...and it ain't for our regional food either...it stand for, "Girls raised in the South"! I LOVE it!
She is SO proud and works hard to pay for it.

Ashley has been driving the convertable, but wants to trade IT in for an SUV, so we will be trading in the next few weeks.

The van behind the convertible is ours too, we traded in our old van for this. It's a Kia and we LOVE IT!
Our back yard looks like a car lot.

And lastly...our Azalea's are fixing to bloom! This is a shot towards our BACK, back yard. Our back yard is divided into what's mowed and what ain't. This is what ain't, but is being worked on as you can see by the wheel barrow full of tree limbs back there. (Click on the picture and you can make it bigger)

It goes down to a third part of the back, back yard...which contains blackberrys and other of nature's bounty...it actually needs bush hogging, but we ain't got one, so we let nature have it!! hee hee

That's all our news for the moment.
