Twas the week before Christmas...

The ice storm is past and we have all recovered. I heard Uncle Dave, Kim and family and Aunt Aurelia all had it rough. On Mikes side, his sister and family and his Uncle Art all were without power and stayed across the street. The girls loved that! It gave them someone else to pester to death.

The girls began their NEW JOBS! YEE HAWWW! They are now employed with a restaurant called, "Brixx" which is a Yankee kind of Italian/Pizza place. We couldn't pronounce most of what was on the menu, and seeing GOAT cheese and olive oil in everything was..uh...different.
The place hasn't opened officially yet, so yesterday was family day there. Family of employees got to eat FREEEEEEEEEEE, while our "now-employed-precious-children" waited on us. The girls are HOSTESSES. They aren't old enough to wait on tables because the place serves alcohol.
Their jobs entail..greeting people ("hot" guys if lucky) at the door, showing them to their seats (close to them if "hot") and (if they remember) bringing them their menu and silverware. The end.

They have worked here for a week so far, learning this. They had to be at work 4 hours before family's could arrive so they could RE-learn this..most of the hostesses ARE blonde.
So, Ashley calls me right before we walk out the door to get there and asks...no BEGS me not to bring the camera. who, ME? SURE, Ashley, I won't bring it. She knew better that that! I have a blog to maintain.
I didn't take alot because they were petrified I would embarrass them. WHEN have I ever done THAT?

Here's what I took:
Britt was SO nervous! But she only dropped the silverware on someone once! Ashley was busy checking everyone out. AND Courtney was just waiting on her food. I ordered Spinach and Artichoke dip appetizer and she nearly gagged! HA! I only ordered it because I knew they wouldn't eat it!

Well, I'm off to finish my shopping today, because I have to work the next 3 days.

I put more pics below...keep scrolling down!
Happy shopping to all!
