Off work and lovin' it! I like my job, but I LOVE my days off!!! If I had to go back and work 5+ days a week, I don't know what I'd do!

Another big news item today is the freaking HEAT! O.M.Geeee. It was 105 degrees yesterday with the heat index and it was miserable. Boomer would do his business outside and nearly crawl back inside! Here he is during HIS nap time...

We had to take him to Brusters Ice Cream the other day...he was hot and malnourished....HAAAA! He was hot but NOT malnourished! He loves ice cream above all else, so we had to take him for a treat!

she sent me this pic...she didn't get it because of the price tag, but I like it. She's looking for a dress to wear in Hiawassee when she performs there the end of July. She still has time to find one.

Work...

Just a shorty here....we went for ice cream last night and took Boomer! HAAAA! He loved it but it was SO hot, he was ready to get home, in front of his fan, on his pillow, on his couch. I have pics, but will post them when I get a sec...

The IPhone 4g was released yesterday!

WOW! Too bad we have Verizon, OR IT WOULD BE MINE! whatev. I'm currently trying out the HTC Incredible, which is reportedly every bit as fantabulous as the IPhone.

Coming off the Blackberry Tour, it's a HUGE learning curve, but I'm up for the exciting challenge!

Short update....

Dad mentioned that I haven't updated in a couple of days and No, I haven't!

I came down with an eye infection that got a little out of hand and I didn't feel like being my usual witty, humorous, yet humble self with great photography skills!

I haven't taken one single picture either! Well, I did take one of Boomer taking his nap to send to Ashley, but that doesn't count.

The electrician is here re-wiring the hot water heater now so we can have some hot water!

Wadda day.

and it's only 7:51am. We, once again, have NO HOT WATER. I used to ask for it not to rain on my days off, now I ask for hot water on my days off. whatev.

The following pictures are NOT up to my usual extraordinary quality...I took them with my new cell phone, and I didn't realize there was a clear, plastic protective covering over the camera lens until I was sitting at work yesterday admiring the phone. Imagine my surprise and HORROR! It's removed now and all is well.

Britt's Birthday was on the 14th and she had a good #22! We had a party for her last Sunday!

Her cake was sugar-free as was the ice cream!

Grandma Terry had to "supervise" the cutting of the cake...

Court was the "Scooper" which was her job when she worked at Bruster's Ice Cream.

Lee was the "eater"...

Last Friday or so, we went out to the Tadpole to eat!!

Britt received in the mail, a Birthday card from Ashley...

HAAAAAAA!!!!! She was SOOOO happy and it meant alot to her getting a card from Ashley!

Court received her graduation card from Ashley the next day. She was VERY very happy too! ha

**ASHLEY UPDATE** - She is doing WONderful! She and her room-mate have been steady getting ready for this next patrol. This will be Ash's first "Official" patrol on board this cutter, since she joined this cuttert towards the end of the Olympic patrol. She's VERY excited to get going...she says she loves being out at sea! We miss her, but are so SO SO proud of her!

WORK.

Working today, then off for 2 GLORIOUS DAYS! All is well here, everyone is doing great!

I'll post some pictures tomorrow when I'm off of DAD'S NEW COMPUTER! His computer he has today is probley 8 years old at least. He gets his new one today! This new one will run NASA and Wal-Mart Distribution Center AT THE SAME FREAKING TIME!!!!!! Can't wait to see it tomorrow!!!

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! I love it! I thought when I read this..most people who know nothing insist that they do and further insist we are interested in what little they do know! HUH?

Well, I'm off this morning to spread my good cheer to the ailing. Mom is down with her asthma and is in need of a steak biscuit from Hardees...Dad too! I have mountains of clothes to wash, but the hot water heater is STILL not working right after two visits from the plumber and I need to go around with Britt to help her find a J.O.B.

AND...Lee gave Britt a promise ring last night and she was just beyond happy!

She sent that to me from the restaurant where Lee took her to. VERY swanky...they used real silverware and everything! No plastic for MY baby! HA

Ash sent me ANOTHER PICTURE yesterday! It's like lottery time with all these pictures coming in! We're LOVING it!

Today, her cutter is getting a new Captain. Evidently, their swapping Captains around is like preachers swapping churches around.

Anyways, they had to get the boat ready for this event today!

Happy Birthday, Dillon!

Yesterday was Dillon's 18th birthday! His family invited us out to eat! Courtney had a cake made for him and we took it last night and the waitress hid it while we ate. It was a cake in the shape of a guitar!

Britt had a great time..she wasn't wild about the dead animals hanging on the walls, but she managed!

When we got back home, Buddy was mad because we didn't bring him home any leftovers!

He's so beautiful!

Anyways, we had a great evening. Dillon's family are all wonderful people and they can invite us to go out to eat with them any time they want! HA!!

ASHLEY!

Ashley FINALLY sent me a picture of herself and her roommate. I have been hounding her to do so because that's what Mom's do..and I do that really well! HA

Today, I HAVE HAVE HAVE to go to the store, which means Wal-Mart "aisle therapy" time. Britt wants to go with me, but if she isn't up soon, "she snooze, she lose" for her! She asked me to go with her to....get this...the BOOKSTORE today! W.H.A.?

That would make two of my babies going to a bookstore.... in the same YEAR!

At a church dinner today.

Court's Graduation Party

Just finished loading these on the puter and thought I'd share some with ya'll!

I put this picture of the girls there because I wanted Ash to know she was missed!

Court and Dillon played and sang together for our entertainment. They sound really good harmonizing together and it was great!

My parents THOROUGHLY enjoyed it! Especially Mom! HAAAAA

Britt had a great time too!

Chuck and Retha enjoyed it too...I even heard her singing along with them! I would have, but my throat is just FILLED with allergy! Most mysterious ailment!

Granny T had a good time...she loves to eat!

Dillon gave her that mandolin for her graduation present and she LOVES it.

Courtney's GRADUATION!!!!!!

Last night our last baby GRADUATED! The ceremony was good and shorter than I expected considering 585 students graduated! Court was #16! ha

She found all us! We were sitting up in the lower balcony...all she had to do to find us was watch for mine and Dad's camera flashes continuously going off! HA

Here she is going to get her Diploma issued from the GLORIOUS State of South Carolina!

There it is! She's officially graduated! WOOOO-HOOOOOO!!!!

After they called her name, Mom and Dad headed back home....I don't know WHY they didn't want to sit thru 550 names to be called....SO...after the ceremony, we all stood outside and took pictures! (Surely not US!)

After all that, ASHLEY CALLED! She's tired and happy! She's still learning alot every day and is excited to get underway! I told her to send-me-more-pictures. She has the new HTC Incredible with an 8 megapixel camera. She needs to use it for her Mama!
