My second present is getting my hair styled/done. I was/am against this present NOT because my hair doesn't need it, but rather WHO is doing it. John.
I LOVE John, it's just he raised his prices (ALOT) with his most loyal of customers who have gone to him for years and I felt that was inappropriate. BUT, I will give in and get it done this morning. I know my hair will look fantastic and THANKS MOM!
Well, as you can see, I didn't add a picture one yesterday afternoon as I promised. I will explain that one too later. Hopefully today will be a better day and I will have time to piddle.
SILKER...I WILL add Grandma Terry's birthday pictures on here when I get back from my hair appt. I have been promising her for days and today is the day!!!
**ASHLEY UPDATE** - My baby has made land fall in the United States of America! WOOOOO-HOOOO!!!! I was driving to Wal-Mart (where all good things happen) yesterday and my phone rang. Court just got a new phone and I have TEMPORARILY switched phones and am trying out her old phone. My Blackberry Curve 8330 in PINK is pouting. Anyways, the phone rang and it said, "ASSY" on the caller ID. I told myself, "WHO IS 'ASSY'"? IT WAS MY BABY!!!!!! She was SOOOO happy to be back in the states! I promise ya'll I could hear her grinning all the way up here! She was just beyond happy, and it showed! She's doing great and is just so excited about this being her last patrol with the USCGC FORWARD and moving on to the next phase.
She has had a great command and I know that anyone who gets assigned to that cutter is exTREMELY lucky and priveledged to get it. Her Chiefs and Captain have gone above and beyond teaching her her job plus more in preparation for her schooling. AND, she has had a BLAST!
More soon...gotta go get my hair done!
