I HEART FACEBOOK!

It's only taken me FOREVER to want to join Facebook, but I finally did over the weekend. WOW. Soon after I did, my family started wanting to be my friends! 2 of my 3 daughters accepted me as their friends. GUESS WHICH ONE WON'T! hmmmmmm.....Ashley. whatev.

Sunday, I invited myself to the McCauley family once a month lunch outing. It was Hibachi Grill. My Uncle Dale didn't show up because he went to Wal-Mart. SEEEE! IT RUNS IN THE FAMILY!!! IT'S GENETIC!! I always knew I couldn't help myself!

Here is my Aunt Sylvia with her neighbors. They aren't McCauley's, but they know one. That entitles you to go!

Aunt Aurelia is my Dad's sister and the only girl with all her brothers growing up. BLESS HER HEART.

This next picture is of Jerry. He is a GREAT GREAT friend to all my family. He SAYS he's my brother, but he ain't. HE IS NOT A MCCAULEY, but he knows alot of them. He also, is from Travelers Rest. The lady beside him is a lady that goes to my family's church, Enoree Baptist Church in Travelers Rest. She is NOT a McCauley, but worships with them. Mom asked her just point blank if her husband was dead or was she divorced! MOM!

This is my Uncle Harry, Dad's twin brother. , genetically speaking, he is my genetic Dad too since he and Dad have identical genes. I guess that makes his kids and me half brother and sisters! Uncle Harry is great! He and my Aunt Ester are two of the many that make me proud to be a McCauley!

Here is my Uncle Dave and Aunt Sylvia. They are SOOOOOOOOOOO much fun to be around and Mom says Uncle Dave has webbed feet because he walks on WATER! WOW. He has never shown me his feet, but I believe her!!!!

That's all the pics I took. I took the little camera because that restaurant is so packed normally, I didn't want to take the big one. Mike and Britt were there too, but they sat with their backs to me and I didn't get one.

Since I INVITED myself and my family to this one, and we were all such a hit there, we are invited back to all future outings with them!

Acutally, I work alot of the Sundays they go out and I happened to be off this one and found out about it.

Well, I'm off today so Britt and I are going for a little therapy at Wal-Mart when she gets up at the crack of noon. Woo-HOO!

Looky what I got!

While Britt and I were over at my parents house visiting, Dad gave us (ME!!!) a coupon book from Wendys for 10 junior Frostys! So, I went and used two of my coupons!

AWWWWW, ain't they cute!!! We're all over anything that's FREEEE...or a dollar!

That's my Fall Flora center-piece behind it. Actually, I made the girls go out and pick up some pine cones out in the yard and leaves and stuff and I had the small hay bale already from like 10 falls ago.

OH well, I ate one of the Frostys and am saving the other for Mike when he gets home from working tonight. They are working at the Bi-Lo center again....LEONARD SKYNARD!

Every trailor park in Greenville and Spartanburg are emptied out...they're all at the concert! BAH-HAAAAAAAAAA!

Friday night...

Mike and Britt are working at the Bi-Lo center for a Michael W. Smith concert or something. They gotta work tomorrow night at the Leonard Skynard concert or something like that. Court is GUESS WHERE! Yup...Guadalajara's and I'm here with the boys at home.

I just finished practicing my guitar. I nearly deafened my teacher the other day...if the sound wasn't SOOO horrifying, it might have been funny. I think I saw a tear well up in his eye. Did I mention that I didn't practice any last week?

I'm on here to show ya'll a picture of Ashley's barracks room at A-School. It's so TINY!

So is this picture, but she sent it with her cell phone. Her bed is the one on the right. Who'd a thought she actually knew how to make up a bed! She doesn't sleep IN it tho, but rather on top of the blankets and all. She took her elastic ties she uses to hold her shirt tucked in and it clips on the bottom of her shirt tail to the top of her socks on the inside of her trousers. Anyway, she took those straps and clipped them on under her mattress to hold her blanket tight! COOL! My baby so SMART!

She has so far taken 3 written tests and made one 95 and two 100's. She had her first Physical fitness test today and did great on all except the push-ups! WHAAAA???? She ran 1 1/2 miles in 12 minutes and did the sit-ups, pull-ups etc great. She can DO some push-ups, so I don't know if she was tired out or WHAT, but baby better get to pushing!!! She said there is a trainer at Langley Air Force gym, (about 5 miles away) and he is willing to help her. She is so driven to finish at the top of her class, that she will get anyone to help her. I think she pushes herself AT TIMES, too hard, but that's her. She's generally pretty laid back, but she's SOOO determined to finish at the top. We'll see!

We plan on driving her to graduation in January, and I can't WAIT! I love all the hoopla that goes on during these ceremonies and she has mentioned twice now that she wants us there, so there we shall be!

That's it for my ramblings! I gotta work tomorrow, WHICH should be my day off, BUT another girl is on vacation, so I gotta go in. Thankfully another girl is working Sunday, or I'd be there too.

The hospital has been SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO fulllllllll of patients! WHERE DO THEY COME FROM? And, sad to say, most of them wait until they are so sick, THEN go to the ER instead of their family Dr. We've had alot of sick SICK patients lately.

Gotta go wash clothes!!!

Off work for a day...

After being on vacation for nearly 2 weeks, I returned back to work Friday and it has been a mad house at work. We were so short staffed, we had to send some patients we were supposed to get elsewhere! BUT...now that I'm back from vacation, the girl that works opposite me went on vacation and now I gotta work in her place AND mine! OH well...I surely ain't complaining.

The Blackberry Tour is out now and it's just so beautiful. Verizon had a buy 1 get 1 free deal, so I did! Court got the other one because she was with me at the time. She actually shares the same genetic defect as me...the defect that LOVES GADGETS. Bless her heart. Of course, Britt began to pout even tho she just GOT a new phone, so I told her Santa may bring her one for Christmas!

After I got off work last night, the herd was at Guadalajara's, so I went up there for a little while and heard Court sing a couple. Sunday nights aren't so bad up there because it's a MUCH smaller crowd and everyone pretty much knows everyone.

I forgot to mention, I took a picture of my therapy session the other day....

Ashley, who is in A-School as of last night, sent me this pic of her new boots. I don't think I put this on here already...

She sent me this pic of herself last night. They had to be dressed in their uniforms and at muster at 5:45pm last evening. I told her to send me a pic of her dressed with her blingage on..

She told me last night after she got back to her barracks room, that they stayed in a classroom for about 3 hours being told what, how, when and consequences of messing up of what their supposed to do. She also said her ribbons were on in the wrong position, but they very thoughtfully instructed her on how to properly arrange them. Wasn't that nice!

I took this pic the other day too. Tyler (Mike's cousin) left for Marine boot camp yesterday and his family had a going away party for him. I took this next picture there...the twins...

Patty Loveless concert in Hiawassee, Ga

yesssss, it was fantastic! She sang a TON of her older stuff and some from her new CD that's coming out. She is one of Courtney's favorites.

I'm only putting pics on here for ya'll to see my beautiful photography!

I KNOW...I should be a photographer for National Geographic...I've heard that SOOO many times before.

Ya'll know if we're within a hundred miles of Hiawassee, Court has to visit the boys. Here is Court and Ryan. He is SOOO nice and polite...Mike even likes him! We ESPECIALLY like the fact that he lives SOOO far away! haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Patty's warm-up band was called, "Trees Leave", whatever that means. They were like a modern Bluegrass sort of band.

I gotta go to Verizon wireless today and get them to look at my cell phone. Ash and I swapped batteries last weekend in Hiawassee because her battery was not working right and we have identical Blackberrys. It was VITAL that her cell phone worked, she says to me, because she may miss a call from her boys. whatev.

Her battery doesn't last 2 hours in my phone. It's been wet with salt water too. Maybe my BFF's at Verizon will let me get a NEWWW BLACKBERRY?!?!? OMGEEEEEEEEEE!

I think I'll go now instead of later!!!!

Then I'm off to Wal-Mart for my therapy session! hee

Great weekend!

We're back! What a weekend.

We started off Friday night at Homecoming. Court and Mike looked fantastic on the football field.

Dad took these pics. He has my memory disk, so I haven't seen them yet.

So after all that, Lauren went back home after half time because she had a volleyball tournament the next morning, Britt and Ash went to somebody boyfriends sisters house or whatever and Mike and Court went to Guadalajaras.

The next morning was Fall for Greenville and the YAMS were there.

Court was ready and getting her "rythmn section" (gum) warmed up..

SOOO, first thing I make them do when we got to the fairgrounds was find a clump of hay and make them stand in front of it. IT'S TRADITION!

So, after all that, the girls went out to eat with the boys and the rest of us went back to the motel. They ate at Huddle House! heee

The next morning, we got ready to head back to Mauldin early so Ash could drive on up to Portsmouth and get up there before dark.

Homecoming 2009 Part 1

Part 1 because Dad has my disk with tonights football Homecoming pics on it, which were AWESOME by the way! BUT, you'll have to wait and see Mike in his suit SWEATING on the 15 yard line with Courtney by his side.

This pics I have here for part 1 were taken at the pep rally at the school today, WHICH Dad and I were NOT invited to, WHICH ticks me off, but whatev.

Ya'll will, I'm SURE recognize some of these girls from the prom earlier this year. Alot of these girls are on the soccer team at Mauldin. Court only sings the anthem.

Here is Court with her escort, WHO never escorted her anywheres and she doesn't even remember his last name...or first name either AND the football players didn't even go on the field tonight with the girls...they were in the locker room getting yelled at. That's OK. All the Daddy's did a great job. Did I mention it was HOT?!

Here is Court and her buddy Morgan (who was also in the pageant with her...and doesn't know her escorts name either!!!).

Well, that's enough of that. Mauldin, who played Dorman High tonight, both going into the game undefeated, FREAKING LOST and there ain't no wonder. Dorman is in Spartanburg and EVERYONE knows those Spartanburg boys start on solid foods at birth and are as big as mooses out there on the football field. It was a close game, 14-12. Friday after next, Mauldin plays Byrnes High, which is #2 in the NATION! GUESS WHERE THAT SCHOOL IS?

FREAKING SPARTANBURG.

THEIR Mama's start spoon feeding them grits while still in the womb! Those boys are HUGE.

Well, I'm off to pack and stuff. Mike and Court are at GUADALAJARA'S! Where else. Britt and Ash are at some friends BOYfriends sisters house. huh?

Crash landing on the MOON!

I have found a job for the girls....they can be the driver of the satellite that crashed on the moon!! How could you mess up...unless you totally MISSED THE MOON!

...I think I'll email NASA and see if they have any job openings! hee

All is well here...Ash is still home and we've been SOOO busy that I haven't even had time to scrape my front porch posts so they can be re-painted before it gets cold.

We all went out to eat the other night to this restaurant called the Tadpole...it's a fish camp and SOOO good!

Here some of us are headed there. After my family saw me headed out the door with a camera, Mike and the girls wanted me to ride with my in-laws...ain't sure why?!

Tomorrow is a HUGE day...Court has to sing with the YAMS (Young Appalacian Musicians, or something like that) at noon downtown Greenville at Fall for Greenville...it's this festival they have downtown every year. Dad and I will take pics for that. Then we're headed to Hiawassee, Ga for Court to sing there. Aaron Tippin is headlining! The girls are excited to go...they can't wait to see Jeremy and Ryan...whatever.
